Founder member of Indian Muslims Awareness Movement (IMAM) Dr Nayeb Ali is a candidate for Bihar legislative council from Patna teachers constituency and is busy campaigning in his constituency that covers three districts Patna, Nalanda and Nawada spread over 26 assembly seats.
The core committee of the movement consisting founder and president Ashhar Hashimi, noted journalist and intellectual, General secretary Younus Mohani, Advocate and editor ‘Click TV , Secretary Jahangir Adil Alig bureau incharge Andhra /Telengana and members of Bihar unit Aurangzeb Arman, Qazi Nawab Atiquzzaman, Reyaz Aatish all from Patna, Sohrab Khan (Sher Ghati) shaukat Ali (Betia) Hafiz Khurshid Alam (Begusaray) Shakilur Rahman (Phulwari Sharif) and others are taking part in mobilising voters for support and convassing .
Dr Nayeb Ali is Head of Department in political science . Before joining teaching profession Dr Nayeb Ali was practicing law in Patna High court.
He is a known political activist and social worker and commands respect in every quarter.
His campaign is gaining strength and he is supposed to put up a brilliant fight.
Nayeb Ali is first Muslim candidate in this constituency after independence.
Dr Nayeb Ali has good following and rapport among teachers of madrsas and 10+2 high schools and college university teachers۔
He has received support from all prominent Muslim organisations.
